Thoughts on the current political situation in South Korea and responding to the stock market

A. Thoughts on the current political situation in South Korea

On the night of December 3, 2024, the President of Yoon Suk Yeol of the Republic of Korea declared emergency martial law.

When I first heard this news, I thought it was an AI deepfake. Unfortunately, however, it was a reality.

Shortly after, martial law was lifted, but the chaotic aftermath continues.

Honestly, I don't know how long this conflict will continue.

When I first heard about martial law, what I was most curious about was, "Why did President Yoon Suk Yeol declare emergency martial law?"

It was Defense Minister Kim Yong-hyun who directly told me that question.

"The purpose of this martial law is to verify allegations of election fraud by the Election Commission." he said.

By looking at various circumstances, this seems to be right.

However, nearly three weeks after martial law was declared, there is no specific address to the allegations of fraudulent elections in the big two parties, major media, the Election Commission, the judiciary, or anywhere else.

It's just talking about some YouTubers' conspiracy theories.

What I felt while living in Korea society is that politicians and journalists are groups that benefit from attacking other people's faults.

However, no one has touched on the "suspected election fraud" that the Secretary of Defense directly said.

Even the members of the government ruling party, who are under pressure to impeach the President every day, are not talking about this, They are talking about it very passively.

It's as if they think it's a "The fatal encounter" that you can't touch.

Many people know that U.S. President Donald Trump, who was elected this time, continued to raise the issue of fraudulent elections.

There are many cases of fraudulent elections around the world, and I learned that the counting machine of the fraudulent election country was made in Korea after I heard several article this time.

With so many examples  from abroad, why do major media companies and politicians try to dismiss them as just conspiracy theories from some YouTubers? Why is this?

I thought about it, but I could only conclude like this.

If fraudulent elections were actually conducted, it means that both "the Power of the People Party" and "the Democratic Party of Korea" and cannot be free.

If not, neither party can be this silent on such an important matter.

Both parties have benefited from fraudulent elections.

Of course, the Election Commission and the judiciary will be connected, and the press will not be free here.

Now, the nation is divided into two parts: "the Power of the People Party" and "the Democratic Party of Korea". It's too bad.

By the way, if anyone in the ruling party or the opposition party won the election by fraudulent means, does the general public need to support each political party? I don't think so.

Fraudulent elections are irregularities committed by the two major parties, the Election Commission, the judiciary, and the so-called major media giant cartels.

I have no choice but to think like this.

I think they're closing each other's eyes.

Whether it's the ruling party or the opposition party, they don't care much about who takes power. I just have to stay in cartel and make a profit.

That giant cartel is a huge group of school connections, blood connections, marriages, etc.

Whether I get elected in a rigged election or who gets elected, it's all a huge group within my network.

Fraudulent elections are like "Fatal encounter" that you know all about, but you can't touch.

If I touch it, I have a fear that all the damage can come back to me.

You just have to take advantage of your vested interests and win the next election by fraudulent election.

If neither party is free from fraudulent elections, we, the general public, have no reason to give our support to each party.

Fraudulent elections are rampant, and if no one can touch them, this should not be a competition between parties, but a struggle between vested and non-gainful, or between the ruling and the underprivileged.

Because the damage is solely to the general public, the non-gainful or controlled class.

Instead of the people supporting both parties and fighting the country from east to west, they should ask for fair elections against those vested interests who are frequently engaged in fraudulent elections.

Elections are said to be the "flower of democracy". However, if our vote is not properly exercised, it is truly a loss of the rights of the people.

The people should not fight in two, but rather monitor the election properly against the giant cartel, which struggles to turn a blind eye to fraudulent elections.

I think the person who prevents fraudulent election investigations is the beneficiary of the fraudulent election.

If a fraudulent election investigation turns out to be a legitimate election, you can punish the person who raised the fraudulent election, and if it turns out to be a fraudulent election, you can thin out the beneficiaries.

B. Falling Stock Price

Since martial law, the composite stock index has been falling day after day.

The national image and credibility are heading towards the bottoms.

If we pass a rigged election without verifying it, and the rigged election continues in the future, this will adversely affect the nation's credibility and have devastating consequences for the Korean capital market, Korea's democracy will also collapse.

I'm worried about how much the stock price will fall tomorrow morning.

C. Responding to the downtrend

For now, I'm keeping HTS and MTS away by putting up a reservation sale.

We are not buying the stocks we hold during the decline.

When the composite stock index shows a beekeeping of back-up sign, it will buy additional shares in its holdings.

As for new purchases, we are making initial installment purchase for stocks with a large drop among the stocks of interest.

My initial share of installment purchases is 8% of the stock allocation.

We are thoroughly tying our hands on stocks that continue to fall after buying in installments.

Fortunately, I usually take 30~40% of the stock, so I have relatively little room for weight in this drop.

If you are an investor who has suffered a drop in the proportion, I expect it to be very difficult.

If the stock has a large decline under the overweight condition, I would like to cautiously say that when rebounding, even if you lose a little, you should take out a little bit of weight and continue the sale by buying again.

It's a difficult chapter, but a rebound will always come, and in time the market will find its footing again.

In any case, this nation difficulty has been resolved smoothly, and we expect another warm breeze in stock market.
